hey guys, Pune is awesome. Weather is too good here just that my honey is not here. Gurgaon is freezing right now ,thank god i came here. Still down with cold n cough, hell this cold doesn't leave me at all.Anyways i made "Dahi Kebbabs" today and it came out yum . Excuse me for not making "imli ki chatni" as i didnt get imli in the market. May be i have to go to another market to fetch "Imli".
Okay i will tell u how to make this. Very different taste and easy to make. So guys apron on and lets start.
Oh i forgot about the source .We ,our family had dined in Pind Baluchi (one of the Restra in Gurgaon) and had Dahi kebbabs. Every time we ate ,someone from us always wanted to make it. So i guessed the recipe and tried it. To my surprise it came out exactly the same except the shape dint came out that perfect. Never mind it tasted same.:)
Chalo chalo lets do the recipe..
Dish:Dahi Kebabbs Time:25 Mins Serves:4 People Costing:
Ingridients:
Hung Curd:250 gms(shredded)
6 cloves of Garlic(shredded)
Coriander leaves(cut into small pcs)
1 Onion(cut into tiny pcs)
1 Carrot(Shredded)
small pc of Ginger(shredded)
1 Spoon of butter
6 Spoons of Oil (for deep frying)
Process
For making Hung curd: Lay a muslin cloth over a bowl and pour the yogurt's into it. Pick up the edges of the cloth and tie a knot. Hang it till it turns into a cheesy mixture. U may keep it for 4-5 hrs till the entire water comes out.
For Filling:
Grate the hung curd.In a wok put 1 spoon of butter and fry shredded garlic, Onion, Carrot ,Ginger and the grated hung curd. Add little salt . Mix it well. Add chopped coriander leaves. The filling is ready.
Now 2 take slices of Bread and cut the brown sides of the bread. Wet your hand ,lay bread on it and put the filling inside it. Make a oval shape and with little water in your hand just press it well so that you get the oval shape. don't put lot of water in your hand ,otherwise it might break and the filling will come out. Heat oil in Kadhai and deep fry the kebbab till it turns golden brown.
That's is ,serve it with green chutney or tomato sauce.Who can think that curd can also be used as a filling. Guys try and please let me know about it.
How on earth i will know that you are trying my recipe .Do try and let me know the feedback.
Love ya. C ya tomorrow with new recipe:)Happy cooking.
