29th Jan,2010 ,Bhindi(Okra)Masala

Hi Friends,

Hope you guys are trying these recipes .I am waiting for the feedback and comments. I am sorry i couldn't post the blog yesterday as my net didn't work . I am having gala time here. I was looking for some nice baking class so that i can learn more baking esp decorating the cakes and then put it in my blog. Lets hope i get some nice workshop here.

I made Bhindi Masala. Last December we went to Bhubhneshwar and stayed in a Hotel called "Royal Midtown". I had amazing Bhindi Masala there and i guessed the recipe. Looks like i am becoming expert in guessing right recipes:)And i made it and it came out excellent.

Lets make it right away.

Dish: Bhindi(Okra)Masala Time:30 Mins Serve: 4 people Costing:

Process

Ingredients:

Bhindi (Okra) 500 gms
Onions : 3 (Grind it)
Ginger and Garlic-1 spoon(paste)
Tomatoes: 4(Make a paste)
Red Chilly Powder:1 spoon
Garam Masala:1 spoon
Corainder Masala:1 spoon
Roasted Zeera Powder:1/2 spoon
Turmeric powder: 1/2 spoon
Oil to fry
Salt to Taste

Slice Bhindi ( Okra) in long pieces.Heat the oil in pan and add the bhindi pieces. Shallow fry them.Keep the fried bhindi aside.
Heat 3 spoons of oil in a pan . Add onion paste and fry them until light brown. Then add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for one minute. Add all the masalas and fry them till the oil separates.Add tomato paste, and salt, cover the pan and cook for a few minutes until it is cooked well and the oil comes out. Stir carefully if needed to avoid the mixture from sticking to the pan.Add fried okra and mix slowly. Keep on heat for 5-7 mins and then remove the pan.

So its treat for those people who love Bhindi. I am a non-vegetarian but whenever i get an option of bhindi ,i jump to that. I just love it . I am going to try another recipe of Bhindi tomorrow and in case if it comes out good ,u know its here. Enjoy

Love u.
